ESRC Funded PhD Studentship Available
The School of Law at the University of Leeds invites applications from prospective PhD students for a full-time ESRC funded +3 Quota Award (PhD Studentship) in socio-legal studies and/or criminology commencing October 2010.
Applicants are expected to have a UK Upper Second Class Honours degree or equivalent in any of the social sciences. Applicants must also have completed ESRC recognised research training at Masters level (or have equivalent research training experience).
ESRC studentships are open to UK and EU citizens - for information on eligibility see the ESRC website. Maintenance grants for studentships in 2010/11 will be in the region of £13,490 per annum, and research in certain areas may attract a supplement.
