Research Assistant Jean Monnet Action, Teaching Assistant and PhD Researcher

I am currently working as research assistant for the Jean Monnet Action ‘Economic and social integration in the EU and beyond – interdisciplinary perspectives’ and as a teaching assistant for the EU Law Module. Previously, I held the position of Research Officer for the project ‘European Economic and Social Constitutionalism after the Treaty of Lisbon' and as a research assistant for the Centre for European Law and Legal Studies (CELLS). I am also writing my PhD on ‘Higher Education Institutions under EU Law constraints’ at the University of Leeds. 

Before I came to Leeds, I worked for the Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, for the Secretariat General of the German section of Amnesty International and for the German Development Service (DED, now German Agency for International Cooperation, GIZ) at the Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (Academy for Civil Servants in Indonesia).

Scholarly and Research Interests

My research interests are in the field of

  • EU Law (in particular, competition law as well as tension between the economic and the social in the EU)
  • Education Law and Policy
  • Human Rights

Teaching

I am teaching seminars in EU Law.
