Miss Herabans Kaur
Widening Participation Administrator

I am responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination and delivery of the School's widening participation and outreach provision.
This involves facilitating the nationally funded Pathways to Law Programme, of which my key responsibilities include events on and off campus.
This entails developing and managing relationships with representatives from school/colleges in Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield. I also work with representatives from schools and colleges in Leeds, international and local law firms, key funders and stakeholders (e.g., the College of Law) and core providers of events internally and externally (e.g., the CPS, the magistrates court and magistrates in the community).
I am also responsible for recruiting and training our students to work as ambassadors for the School.
Other widening participation activities include Reach 4 Excellence provision, summer schools and Access to Leeds input.
My role in the School's Pro Bono provision includes the development of new and engaging areas for our students to research and apply their legal knowledge, for example, streetlaw.
