Centre for Criminal Justice Studies, postgraduate research student conference

11 July 2012 | 9:30am to 5:15pm | Conference
School of Law, The Liberty Building, University of Leeds

The Centre for Criminal Justice Studies is hosting its annual post-graduate conference on July 11th in the Liberty Building. The event is organised by Criminal Justice PGR students at the University of Leeds and will cover a broad range of themes including violence, policing and community resilience.

Robert Reiner has kindly agreed to speak at the event. Robert hardly needs an introduction as Emeritus Professor of Criminology at the London School of Economics and one of Britain's leading criminologists. It is an enormous honour to have such a distinguished guest.

The event is free and opens with coffee followed by presentations and workshops.

Lunch and refreshments are provided. The conference aims to promote cultural diversity and will include a ‘dry’ reception and is timetabled so as to avoid prayer times.

If you wish to attend, please email P.R.Traynor@leeds.ac.uk and include any special dietary or other requirements you may have, so we can arrange for these to be accommodated.
