Leeds Journal of Law and Criminology Launch
Launching the Leeds Journal of Law and Criminology – An Invitation to the Celebration
The Leeds Journal of Law and Criminology is holding a launch event for its first edition.
The Journal, now in its second year, was started by a team of undergraduate and postgraduate students. This year, it will be recruiting new members of its editorial board from all years and levels, including freshers. It is a great opportunity to hone your editing, writing and critical thinking skills, especially if you are considering pursuing postgraduate study.
You may also wish to submit a piece of work, either original or from a university assignment, to be considered for publication this year, in which event you should find it beneficial to learn what the new editorial board will be looking for.
The launch event will finish at 3:45pm, leaving enough time to get to the next freshers’ event in Roger Stevens at 4pm. There will be presentations from the outgoing and incoming executive on joining the editorial board or submitting work, as well as presentations for some of this edition’s authors on the work they have done.
To find out more about the journal and read the inaugural issue, see www.criminology.leeds.ac.uk, which you can access from 23 September onwards -- or drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope to see you there!
LG.06 is in the basement of the Liberty Building, accessible by the stairs straight ahead of you as you walk into the Liberty Building.
