EU non-discrimination law and the situation of Roma

26 June 2013 | 4.00pm | Seminar
The Liberty Building, room G.28

This seminar was organised by Professor Dagmar Schiek as part of her work as the Jean Monnet ad personam Chair

The situation of one of the oldest minorities in the EU, the Romani people, has been characterized by deprivation and discrimination for a long time. Three papers consider whether and in how far EU non-discrimination law is an adequate answer to the problem.
