Global and Regional (economic) integration regimes - consequences for (national) social policies
The difficulties of the latest WTO negotiation round have illustrated that institutionalised global economic integration may have its limits. At the same time, the global economic crisis seems to nurture new strengths of regional economic integration. This offers interesting research perspectives in comparing the impact of dispersed economic integration systems upon social policy choices, at national as well as regional or even global levels. This seminar is meant to discuss those themes.
