This Conference provides postgraduate research students at the Centre for Criminal Justice Studies (CCJS) with the opportunity to present papers drawing on their PhD studies.

The conference showcases some of the research CCJS students are currently engaged in, as well as offering a supportive environment where students can receive feedback from staff and other students on the ideas and arguments presented.

The keynote speech for the conference is to be given by Ms Harriet Wistrich, solicitor working at Birnberg Peirce, specialised in cases holding the police and other state bodies to account for abuse of power. She is a founder member of Justice for Women and was named Liberty human rights lawyer of the year in 2014.

The Conference will be followed by a wine reception and the CCJS Annual Meal.

Attendance at this event is free but advance registration is required.
