Women Breaking Barriers will introduce to you a panel comprising a range of women excelling in their respective fields. Each panel member will provide insight into what they do, and barriers they face

Women Breaking Barriers would like to introduce to you a panel comprising a diverse range of empowering women excelling in their respective fields. Each panel member will provide an invaluable insight into what they do, their career paths, and any barriers they may have faced in getting to where they are today, and how they have dealt with them.

Whatever gender, whether you are interested in the solicitor or barrister route, or a career in a non-law area, or simply want to meet high-achieving people who will inspire you in whatever you want to achieve, this event is for you!

Following the Panel discussion, there will be a networking reception which everyone is welcome to attend.
 

Our panel will be comprised of:

Louise Mor is a Partner at White & Case in London. She has worked internationally, spending 3 years in Paris, Louise's practice covers cross-border asset finance and leasing, with a focus on aviation and rail. Yasmin Khan is the Director of Staying Put, a domestic abuse charity and the founder of IRAP which is an organisation aiming to rehabilitate victims of child sexual exploitation. Claire Young is an entrepreneur and runner up on series 4 of The Apprentice. The experience on the apprentice inspired Claire to set up her own business 'School Speakers'. It is now the UK's No 1 speaking agency working with schools, colleges and universities to provide talks to students. Alison Padfield is a barrister whose specialises in commercial dispute resolution. Alison is also the author of ‘Insurance Claims’, a specialist text on insurance law.
