Established in 1987, the Centre for Criminal Justice Studies pursues research in criminology and criminal law. The annual CCJS Postgraduate Conference aims to bring together postgraduate researchers and academic staff to showcase the research of current PhD candidates.

The day consists of three panels of presenters, each followed by a short panel discussion, and concludes with a keynote speech. Lunch is free for attendees. Academic staff and postgraduate researchers are encouraged to join the presenters and panel chairs for a sit down meal after the event.
