School of Law

International Students

Our cosmopolitan atmosphere at the School of Law attracts more than a hundred international students every year.

Our students come from around the world: South East Asia, Africa, the Gulf, the Indian sub-continent and North America.

At present, we have around 165 international undergraduates, sixty-five international taught postgraduates and thirty international research students.

The vast majority of our undergraduate international students have their sights set on a career in the legal profession. Commonwealth countries recognise our three year LLB as the route to professional qualification as a lawyer.

Our postgraduate taught programmes have a clear international orientation in their approach, appealing to the interests and career development paths of international students.
