Drinking at 'The Philosopher's Arms'

23 August 2012 | Amanda Hemingway

Professor Susanne Karstedt took part in the Radio 4 Show 'The Philosopher's Arms' recorded at the BBC venue at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on 21 August 2012.

The Philosopher's Arms is a place where philosophical ideas, logical dilemmas and the real world meet for a chat and a drink.  Presenter Matthew Sweet takes a puzzle with philosophical pedigree and asks why it matters in the everyday world.  This time the puzzle was 'Why people obey the law (and should they?)'.

The show will be broadcast on Tuesday, 28 August at 3.00pm on BBC Radio 4.
