Dr Pinar Akman trains Turkish Competition Authority

Dr Pinar Akman, Associate Professor in Law, has provided training to the staff members of the Turkish Competition Authority.

Dr Akman was invited to provide lectures on the European Commission’s reform of its application of the prohibition of abuse of dominance (Article 102 TFEU).

The lectures critically examined the recent modernisation of the European Commission’s approach to abuse of dominance cases in Europe.

The training was attended by around 90 participants consisting of competition experts and Board members from the Turkish Competition Authority and took place on 14-15 November in Antalya, Turkey.
