Lady Hale speaks at Temple North Women's Forum

11 December 2013 | Alex Greenwood

The School of Law was pleased to host the inaugural event of the Temple North Women's Forum on Friday 29 November.

The Forum was established in 2013 to support, encourage and inspire women in the legal profession and is supported by Inner and Middle Temple.

Its special guest was the inspirational Lady Brenda Hale, only female Justice and Deputy of the UK Supreme Court.

Lady Hale held a Q & A session with law school students before holding a public event, attended by judges, practitioners, academics and students.

Her conversation with Dr Iyiola Solanke covered a range of topics from the UK relationship with the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg to judicial diversity.
