The Metropolitan Police hold outsourcing talks to save £500m

A study by Professor Adam Crawford is referenced in a Financial Times article which discusses how the Metropolitan Police is considering one of the biggest police outsourcing plans as it strives to save 14% of its annual budget.

Professor Adam Crawfords' study found that fewer than a third of the Police and Crime Commissioners elected in November had made clear in their manifestos that they opposed privatisation.
