Dr Henry Yeomans featured on Channel 5 news discussing proposed alcohol health warnings

Dr. Henry Yeomans was featured on Channel 5 news yesterday discussing the new proposals for health warnings on alcoholic drinks.

Dr. Henry Yeomans was featured on Channel 5 news on Monday discussing the new proposals for health warnings on alcoholic drinks. He emphasised that these proposals are connected to a wider shift towards greater regulation of drinking by middle-aged and middle class people

A lecturer in Criminal Justice and Criminology, Dr. Yeomans is currently working on a project which investigates the historical development of excise duties as a means to regulate drinking and his book Alcohol and Moral Regulation: Public Attitudes, Spirited Measures and Victorian Hangovers was published recently.
