Dr Subhajit Basu participates in Annual BILETA Conference

Dr Basu, Associate Professor in Information Technology Law, recently participated in the 29th Annual BILETA Conference at the University of East Anglia from the 14 – 16 April 2014.

The theme of this year's conference was: Legal regulation & Education - Doing the right thing? Delegates were invited to submit papers relating to law, technology and legal education that examine whether existing laws target the ‘right things' and provide adequate protection for rights.

Dr Basu presented a paper entitled, “Google Glass and Privacy Issues”, which can be viewed on the authors SelectedWorks webpage.

BILETA (British and Irish Law Education and Technology Association) was formed in 1986 to promote the use of technology in legal education throughout the UK and Ireland and holds the most prestigious Annual Technology Law conference in Europe. Dr Basu is an Executive Committee Member of the Association.
