Dr Iyiola Solanke publishes “ground-breaking new textbook” on EU Law

Dr Iyiola Solanke, of the University of Leeds, School of Law has recently had her book EU Law published by Pearson in May 2015, as part of the Longman Law Series.

The brief description of EU Law describes the book as:

“The Court of Justice for the European Union (CJEU) is the busiest court in the world. This ground-breaking new textbook looks into why this is, examining in detail the interactions between European Union and national institutions, instruments, laws and concepts that make up this unique legal order.”

Dr Iyiola Solanke is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the University of Leeds where she is the module leader for the LLB in EU Law. Her research interests fall in the fields of EU integration and racial integration and she has written on intersectionality, anti-discrimination law, social movements, the judiciary in Europe and EU governance. 

She recently was convenor for ‘The Race Relations Act @ 50’ a recent event held at the British Academy.
