Congratulations to LLB finalist Megan Sharp who has been awarded the Newton Pembroke Masters Award to study at the University of Cambridge.

Megan Sharp has been accepted to Pembroke College to continue her studies through an MPhil in Criminological Research.

“It's really daunting but I am so excited and it's really motivating me with my current studies. I feel very privileged to be in this position and I'm still on a high from being accepted!” says Megan.

The scholarship is jointly awarded by the Isaac Newton Trust and Pembroke College. Megan is one of three candidates to be awarded with the scholarship, which totals to a value of £12,000.

Talking about her time as a student at the School of Law at The University of Leeds she said:

“I shall miss Leeds a lot, and I will really miss the students and staff at the School of Law. The staff have been the best. Whenever I’ve felt overwhelmed they have always calmed me down. They have made me feel a part of a community, rather than just a entering a pretty building where I have seminars.  Massive thanks to all the staff for your support and inspiration!”
