Professor Clive Walker delivers paper at Humboldt-Universität for the ‘KOSMOS Dialog: Trialogue on Terrorism’
Professor Emeritus Clive Walker recently delivered a paper at the 'KOSMOS Dialog: Trialogue on Terrorism – 11/3 and 7/7 ten years on' which was held at Humboldt-Universität on the 22 January 2015.
The paper that Professor Walker delivered was entitled, 'Decennium 7/7: The United Kingdom terrorist attacks on July 7, 2005, and the evolution of anti-terrorism policies, laws, and practices'.
The paper reflected on details and analysis of changes post July 7, 2005 in anti-terrorism laws, as well as reflecting upon the current policy re-evaluations in the light of the ‘foreign terrorism fighter’ phenomenon. Discussions were further stimulated by a special exhibition at the neighbouring German Historical Museum on the Red Army Faction/Baader-Meinhof Gang.
