Google tax deal sparks frustration as UK MPs struggle with information void

A recent article written by PhD student Michael Randall, argues that the lack of transparency surrounding global money flows at multinational corporations, results in few people having knowledge of what is owed and to whom.

Such recommendations stem from Google's tax deal with the British Government recently hitting the news, and it being impossible to determine whether the £130 million settlement is truly fair to taxpayers.

Consequently, the story has sparked a great deal of public anger and criticism directed towards HMRC, which Michael explains in the full article.
