25 January 2016 | Georgia Wood

Professor Pinar Akman is in the running for an Antitrust Writing Award 2016 on the basis of her article ‘The Reform of the Application of Article 102 TFEU: Mission Accomplished’, which will be published in 2016 by the Antitrust Law Journal. Her article was picked out of 600 eligible articles by the organisers.

The Antitrust Writing Awards are run annually by the New York-based Institute of Competition Law and the Competition Law Centre at George Washington University's Law School. The goal of these awards is to promote antitrust scholarship and competition advocacy by recognising and awarding the best articles published in the antitrust law and law & economics fields in the last 12 months. The winners of this year’s awards will be announced at a Gala Dinner in Washington DC in April 2016.
