Professor David Wall quoted by BBC discussing fake designer goods

In an article by BBC News, Professor David Wall, Professor of Criminology, discusses ‘What’s wrong with buying fake luxury goods?’

Professor Wall highlights that whilst counterfeited goods provoke outrage, there is little evidence that the profits from such activity fund criminal gangs, contrary to some people’s belief.

David continues by discussing whether the sale of fake goods is a police issue or a civil one, and the motivations behind buyers of such items.
