Almost 100 alumni and their guests joined us for a fantastic reception hosted by the Lord Low of Dalston CBE, held in the Peers’ Dining Room of the House of Lords. The event brought together alumni spanning eight decades of the School’s history.
Guests were given a private tour of the Houses of Parliament, followed by a wine reception and a welcome speech delivered by Lord Low. Professor Alastair Mullis, Head of School, then gave an overview of the current work of the School, speaking about the School today and the importance of our alumni community.
Over 30 alumni from the School of Law, who graduated between 1950 and 1974, joined Head of School, Professor Alastair Mullis and a number of his colleagues at a dinner on 6 May, 2016.
Guests were welcomed with a sparkling wine reception and invited to take a tour of The Liberty Building, the new home of the School of Law, before dining at University House, a fine dining suite in the heart of the University of Leeds campus.
Many School of Law alumni came together on 13 January, 2016, to celebrate their time at the University of Leeds. A dinner was held at The Klapsons Boutique Hotel in Singapore and was hosted by Head of School, Professor Alastair Mullis.
Solicitors, partners, judges and academics were aquainted and reunited over a festive feast at this stylish Singapore hotel.
Over 40 Malaysian alumni from the School of Law met with Head of School, Professor Alastair Mullis, in Kuala Lumpur, on 12 January, 2016.
Guests, spanning decades of life at the University of Leeds, met for drinks and canapes in the relaxed environment of La Bodega in Bangsar, during Professor Mullis’ trip across South East Asia.
School of Law alumni explored the new facilities at the School of Law’s new Liberty Building as part of an alumni event held by the school on 14 September 2011.
Retired judges and solicitors, law professors, government lawyers, partners and associates in major law firms and graduates successful in business and the voluntary sector attended the event as alumni of the school.
