The Investigation of Transnational Crime in Vietnam: with reference to the England and Wales, and the European Union

The research will explore the responses to transnational crime conflicts with the rule of law.

In particular, this research will consider whether there is a balance between a trend for the development of transnational policing and a demand for national interest and individual liberty protection.

As a consequence, it must be determined whether reforming the law system (especially criminal law and criminal procedures law) is an important way to ensure legitimacy and effectiveness of the struggle against transnational crime in Vietnam.
