The Investigation of Transnational Crime in Vietnam: With Reference to England and Wales and the European Union

This research will explore responses to transnational crime in Vietnam and potential conflicts with requirements of efficiency and legitimacy. In particular, this thesis will research whether there is a link between a trend for development of transnational policing and the demand for national interest and the impacts on individual liberty protection. As consequence, it must be determined whether reforming the policing system is an alternative way to ensure efficiency and legitimacy in the struggle against transnational crime in Vietnam.
