I joined the University in December 2015, and work as a researcher on the 'Developing Restorative Policing' project, with Professor Adam Crawford, funded by HEFCE, the College of Policing and Home Office. This project is in collaboration with Sheffield University (Prof Joanna Shapland) and the police forces of West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and Humberside as well as REMEDI.
Prior to working at the university, I spent nine years working at Public Health England (and formerly the National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse) in London. I have also worked at the Westminster Drug Project, Office for Public Management, Barrow Cadbury Trust and London School of Economics. I have a degree in Sociology and Criminology (University of Essex) and a master’s degree in Crime, Deviance and Control (LSE).
