The following members of staff teach on the LLM European Law programme.

Professor Dagmar Schiek (Programme Director)

Jean Monnet Chair in European Law and Director of CELLS. Her research interests include European and international equality law, the emerging European economic and social constitution, European and comparative labour law and issues of transnational governance (in particular by non-state actors at EU level).

Ann Blair (Senior Lecturer in Law)

Her research interests include education law and the right to education, employment and discrimination law.

Professor Michael Cardwell (Chair in Agricultural Law)

He pursues the following research interests: agricultural law, the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy, and WTO law.

Dr Oliver Gerstenberg (Reader in Law)

His research focuses on comparative constitutionalism, human rights and private law, the EU-multilevel system of governance, European private law, jurisprudence and new forms of governance.

Anna Lawson (Senior Lecturer in Law)

Her research interests include international and European disability law (including human rights and anti-discrimination dimensions) and property law.

Neil Stanley (Lecturer in Law)

His research interests include environmental law (domestic and EU) and, in particular, the regulation of planning, water pollution, waste management, nature conservation and risk.

Professor Surya P. Subedi OBE (Chair in International Law)

Affiliated Professor of International Law and Development at the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague. His research interests include International trade and economic law, the law (and role) of the WTO and legitimacy of global regulation.

Professor Peter Vincent Jones (Director of Research)

His research interests include European and domestic health law, contract and public law, civil liberties and socio-legal studies.

Dr Chloe Wallace (Lecturer in Law).

Her research interests include comparative law, French law and legal culture (particularly public law and employment law) and law and religion.

Dr Iyiola Solanke (Senior Lecturer in Law)

Her main research interest lies in Internal Market and Competition Law, and their implications for socio-economic constitutionalism.
