If you want to ...

  • investigate the meaning and consequences of insolvency law in today's climate
  • study advanced corporate law
  • examine the role of corporate governance in the world economy
  • look at issues of regulation in corporate governance, and explore the rights of shareholders in public companies

... then LLM International Corporate Law is the course for you.

LLM International Corporate Law will provide you with the opportunity to develop a specialised and detailed knowledge of the law concerning national and international aspects of corporate law.

This course allows you to critically evaluate the legal rules, regulations, theories and underlying policies relative to Corporate Law.

You will investigate and apply principles and rules found in various areas of corporate law to novel problems, and real-world and hypothetical scenarios.

The distinctiveness of this LLM programme lies in its coherent provision of postgraduate level study in the field of Corporate Law, an area of growing importance in commerce locally, nationally and internationally.

Relatively few law schools in the United Kingdom at present offer specific courses on Corporate Law, and fewer still offer the modules and options available at Leeds.
