LLM International Trade Law course content
This course has five compulsory modules. You also choose another three to four optional modules to complete your programme.
Compulsory modules
International Economic Law provides a comprehensive and critical understanding of the main framework of international law governing international economic relations between states.
The International Law of Foreign Investment focuses on the big shifts in economic relations witnessed in the recent past, underlining the significance of bilateral investment treaties, regional trade and investment agreements and bilateral free trade agreements.
World Trade Organisation Law examines recent changes in economic relations that have underlined the significance of international trade regulation in international economic relations among States, and aims to consider and evaluate in detail some of the main topics within the WTO/GATT regime from the perspectives of both developed and developing countries.
Research Methods focuses on the mechanics of the research process: how to formulate research questions, design research strategies and generally go about the process of 'researching.'
Dissertation allows you to tailor your own programme of training and research in consultation with a member of staff drawn from the school's MA/PhD supervisory panel.
