Throughout the year we have numerous ways for you to visit us, speak to university representatives and get a feel for what it is like to be a Leeds postgraduate.
University Postgraduate Open Days
Our 2017 postgraduate open day was held on 10 February. Our next university-wide event will be in 2018.
These university-wide events cover all postgraduate study options. You will have the opportunity to explore our campus, meet with staff and current students, and find out how a postgraduate degree from the University of Leeds can benefit you. All of our postgraduate programmes will be represented, and you’ll be able to attend talks and pick up information on funding, making your application and much more.
Faculty Postgraduate Open Days
We usually host one or two faculty-specific postgraduate open events during the year.
Masters taster sessions
During the 2016-17 academic year we will be offering a series of Masters Taster Sessions for prospective UK students from non-traditional backgrounds. These give a prospective student the opportunity to attend a lecture/taught session within the subject areas of their choice. This is a fantastic way to experience the learning environment, get a taste of your subject at Leeds and informally meet staff and current students.
Get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org
We know that many prospective postgraduate students will currently either be studying or in employment so it is not always possible to attend our organised open events. However, you are always welcome to visit the campus and we will do our best to accommodate your visit.
Organised campus tours are available most Wednesdays during term time, with more frequent tours available during peak times. Booking opens four weeks prior to each tour. The tours are student-led and include:
- Leeds University Union
- one of our libraries
- our sports centre The Edge
- one of our halls of residence (please note we may not be able to access to individual flats and bedrooms)
