Dealing with Bank Failure - Is the UK's new legal framework adequate?
Maurice Keyworth SR 1.33, Leeds University Business School
This is part of the public lecture series organised by the Centre for Business Law and Practice, in the School of Law, University of Leeds. These events attract postgraduates, both research and taught, undergraduates, staff and local practitioners and designed for anyone interested in commercial law issues.
As an academic and practitioner specialising in banking and financial regulation, Professor Andy Campbell will be discussing the consequences of the recent banking failures and how effectively UK law, revised in the light of recent events, regulates and protects against such an event occurring in the future.
