We are delighted to announce the conference "Human Rights in the Digital Era", hosted by the University of Leeds. The aim of this conference is to produce an account of the current situation online and define the significance that human rights hold within a digital environment. This event intends to inform and stimulate debate between academics and postgraduate students from different backgrounds and disciplines, highlight the dangers that human rights face online and suggest ways to overcome them.

It is our privilege and honour to have two exquisite keynote speakers confirmed for our conference: Professor Viktor Mayer-Schönberger from the University of Oxford and Professor Andrew Murray from the London School of Economics. Invited speakers and panel participants span a wide range of academics from some of the top ranking UK and EU Universities, such as the LSE, the University of Edinburgh, the University of Leeds, the University of East Anglia, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Université du Luxembourg, European University Institute in Italy and Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
