Academic Network of Experts in Disability Studies

This project consists of a rolling programme of research, the precise focus of which is agreed each year with the Unit of Persons with Disabilities in the DG Justice of the European Commission.

The research is carried out by researchers in 34 countries, including all EU countries. The purpose of this network is to provide the European Commission with research that is policy-relevant and will support it in the formulation of evidence-based legislative and other proposals and initiatives.
