Intellectual property and human rights

Intellectual property systems and human rights have a very close yet very complicated relationship. In some cases, implementation of intellectual property would lead to serious violation of human rights.

My research will focus on areas in which IP and human rights come to conflict. The aim of the research is to suggest solutions for an international intellectual property regime that preserves the respect for human rights.
