The Participation of the Civil Society Organisation in the Legislative Process in Vietnam with Lessons from the United Kingdom

The first purpose of research is to investigate and systematize the legislative process in Vietnam and in some developed countries, especially the United Kingdom. The research will explore relevant experience of the United Kingdom with regard to the measure of expanding this capacity. The case of Vietnam will be reviewed and discussed from the perspective of how a developing country could learn from experience of other countries with more developed legal system.

The second purpose of this research is to develop a mechanism to enhance the participation of civil society organizations in the legislative process in the context of Vietnam’s current situation.
